How can I afford the extra money to
hire a wedding consultant?
A wedding consultant should be considered part of your budget, not an extra expense.  You should expect to spend about 10-15% of your budget on a wedding consultant, which is roughly the same amount you will probably spend on other wedding professionals.

Can a wedding consultant save me money?
After setting a workable budget, we can direct you to vendors who provide the best value.  Because we work with vendors repeatedly, we can help you negotiate the best possible price.  Many couples start hiring vendors and signing contracts without realizing how quickly their budget will spiral out of control. Why can't I just have a family friend
coordinate my wedding day? 
Successful coordinating starts well before the wedding day, and it takes a firm and experienced person to manage the many participants, professionals, personalities, and emotions at a rehearsal, wedding and reception. 

Will your friend review your contracts to familiarize herself with all of the details?  Will she touch base with the vendors during wedding week?   Will she take care of changing details in the final days and hours leading up to the wedding when friends and family are arriving and the pace is picking up?  Will she have an extensive emergency kit at the wedding and reception to take care of life's inevitable mishaps?  Will she have a detailed timeline posted so wedding party and family members know where they are supposed to go and when they are supposed to be there?  Will she continue working during the reception, rather than visiting with friends she hasn't seen in years? 

Beautiful weddings don’t just happen.  Glitches are guaranteed, and an experienced wedding week coordinator can head off and deal with potential problems so your friends and family are free to enjoy themselves along with your other guests.

How do you set your fees?
After gathering details about your wedding plans and services you need, we will quote a flat fee, so you will know the total cost up front.  A deposit is required when the contract is signed, and additional payments may be made throughout the planning process on a scheduled basis.  We accept Visa, MasterCard and Tradebank.

What kind of arrangements do you have with wedding vendors?
We recommend vendors we have worked with before, and know to be reputable and capable.  We do not have exclusive agreements with vendors, and any discounts from vendors are passed on directly to our wedding planning clients.  

How do I pick a wedding consultant
who is right for me?
You will want to make sure you get along with and feel comfortable with your wedding consultant.  Most consultants will do as little or as much as you want them to. Make sure they understand your vision of your wedding, and their role in it.  Experience, credentials and referrals are also important.
